Why Thai cosmetics are so popular
- Natural ingredients. Coconut, mangosteen, mango, papaya, tamarind, turmeric, aloe, rice, Thai herbs.
- Attractive prices. There's a lot of local production, so wholesale prices are often more attractive than imported brands.
- Many factories. Thailand has many manufacturers, including contract factories that make cosmetics under the client's brand.
- Clear status with the Thai FDA. Cosmetics sold in Thailand are notified to the Thai FDA, and the notification number is usually printed on the pack. This is not a quality check: we judge quality from samples and, if needed, lab tests.
- Exotic scents that sell well abroad.
What buyers order most often
Shampoos and hair masks
With mangosteen, mango, coconut, papaya and Thai herb extracts, among the most popular items.
Lotions and creams
With mango, mangosteen, coconut and aloe vera. They sell well individually and in gift sets.
Soap and scrubs
Handmade soap and scrubs with coconut, tamarind, rice or coffee. Popular with spas and natural cosmetics shops.
Oils, balms, herbs
Cold-pressed coconut oil, aloe vera gel, Thai balms, herbal inhalers, toothpastes and deodorants. Balms and inhalers are often registered not as cosmetics but as traditional medicines, so we check the category for each product.
False eyelashes
Lashes and extension supplies. Some goods are imported and resold, so we check who the real manufacturer is.
Your own brand (OEM)
Production at a contract factory using its formula or your specification, in your packaging and with your label.
False eyelashes: what to watch for
I've had buyers looking for false eyelashes and extension supplies. Thailand has suppliers, but some of the goods aren't made here; they're imported and resold. Whether you're dealing with a manufacturer, a distributor or a reseller affects the price, quality and supply stability. So before ordering a batch we request samples and compare several suppliers.
Cosmetics under your brand (OEM)
If you want to sell your own line rather than other brands, I'll help you find factories that work with foreign clients, compare terms (minimum run, cost, lead time, packaging) and negotiate in Thai.
How I help you find a manufacturer
- Your request. Which products you need, volume, budget, your own brand or existing brands, destination country.
- Search and shortlist. I find manufacturers and suppliers, contact them in Thai and filter out resellers.
- Checking the company. Company registration, a real address, the product's Thai FDA notification or registration number, export experience.
- Samples. I request samples and send them to you so you can judge quality, scent and packaging.
- Negotiations. Price, minimum order, lead time, packaging and labelling, payment and delivery terms.
- Shipping. I bring in a forwarder and a customs broker and check the batch before shipping.
Documents and shipping
- From the Thai side. Usually an invoice, a packing list and a certificate of origin. Some countries also ask for a certificate of free sale and a detailed ingredient list.
- In the buyer's country. Cosmetics go through local procedures. For example, in Russia and the EAEU, conformity assessment under technical regulation TR CU 009/2011. We check your country's requirements before ordering.
- Delivery. Air suits samples and small batches; sea suits large volumes. Aerosols and some liquids are restricted by air, so we choose the route with the forwarder.

All prices include 7% VAT.
Transport, duties and fees are paid separately. Payment is by PromptPay, bank transfer in Thailand or SWIFT from abroad.
Please note: I'm an independent buyer's representative in Thailand and don't represent any brand. Product certification in your country is done by accredited bodies. I recommend paying the supplier only to a company account and under a contract.
