FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between standard and certified translation?

A standard translation is fine for understanding a document or sending it to a partner. Thai banks, immigration and government offices usually ask for a certified one, with a translator's certificate and company seal. Check the institution's requirements — if you're not sure, I'll advise.

When do I need notarization and legalization?

When the document goes to an embassy, consulate or another country, or when the institution specifically requires it. I coordinate the notary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and you receive the finished document.

Can I order remotely?

Yes. Standard and certified translations are done from scans. Legalization requires the originals — I'll explain how to get them to me.

What counts as a page?

Usually one page of the document. If there's a lot of text or very little, I'll adjust the price after reviewing it.

Do you use machine translation?

No. Translations are done by a person and checked before delivery.
