FAQ about lawyers in Thailand
Are you a lawyer?
No. I'm an interpreter and local representative. Legal advice and documents are prepared by the licensed Thai lawyers I work with.
How much does a lawyer in Thailand cost?
It depends on the matter and the lawyer. The lawyer gives the price and timing after the first consultation, before work starts, and you decide whether to go ahead. My work is at the interpreter rate, from 1,690 ฿.
Do Thai lawyers speak English?
Some do, but legal details are usually discussed in Thai, and documents are in Thai. An interpreter who knows both the language and local practice makes sure nothing is lost.
Can everything be done online?
Often, yes: video consultation, documents by email. Signing and some government offices may require you in person or a power of attorney.
Do you work in Pattaya and other cities?
Yes, I travel from Bangkok by appointment. Outside Bangkok the minimum is a full day.
Do you guarantee the outcome?
No — the outcome depends on the court, bank or government office. I guarantee accurate interpreting and that you'll understand what's happening at every stage.
